REQUIRED
- An extra pair of gym shoes to be kept at school strictly to be used for gym class.
- A set of earbuds or headphones with name on them and in some type of labeled bag/container. Students will be responsible for storing these in their desk/cubby. They will be used frequently, so you will want a reliable set to avoid replacing them throughout the year.
- 3 boxes of Kleenex (I will be collecting)
- 3 pkgs. of wide-ruled paper (I will collect two of these). I suggest keeping the third at home to use.
- 2 composition notebooks (the type where the paper doesn’t rip out). One labeled math and the other science.
- 1 pkg. of four squares per inch graph paper
- 4 folders with 2 pockets each labeled with the student’s name and as follows:
- Science
- Math
- Writing (MUST HAVE PRONGS)
- Data (MUST HAVE PRONGS)
- Science
- 1 large eraser AND 1 pkg. of pencil top erasers (I will collect the pencil top erasers and hand them out as students need them)
- A protractor
- 1 large OR three small glue sticks (I will be collecting)
- 1 pkg. of highlighters (any size)
- 3 pkgs. of #2 pencils (I will collect 2 pkgs. Keep more on hand for use all year!)
- 1 pkg. of fine line dry erase markers (students will need to replace them when they dry up throughout the year)
- If your last name begins with the following, please bring the items listed:
- A-E plastic spoons, forks and paper plates
- F-J cups and napkins,
- K-O Plastic bowls and spoons,
- P-T 2 Clorox or Lysol cleaning wipes
- U-Z Ziploc bags gallon and quart size
- A-E plastic spoons, forks and paper plates
- 3 ring binder (trapper keeper) with the student's name on the outside (must be sturdy as it will be brought to/from school daily). I have had students tell me they prefer the zip-up kind because it helps them to keep their things more organized, papers don't fall out, and it has folders already inside that may be used for math, science, and writing.
- In the binder, there should be a pocket folder with the label “Daily Work”. On the inside of the folder the right side needs to be labeled, “This is to come RIGHT back to school”, and the left side needs to be labeled, “This is to be LEFT at home”.

- A pencil bag that clips right inside the 3 ring binder. This will be used to keep a couple of pencils, eraser tops and/or eraser, protractor, and a dry erase marker in. The student is to have it stocked and with them as they change classrooms.
